Clients
Although a small company, CTP supports several government clients as a direct contractor and teams with other prime contractors as a subcontractor. We are currently working on several major export control and border/trade security initiatives on behalf of U.S. government clients.
CTP extensively supports the Office of Export Control Cooperation in the Department of State's International Security and Nonproliferation Bureau (ISN/ECC/DOS) along the entire spectrum of strategic trade controls. Nonproliferation experts raise awareness among high level officials and implementing officers of the WMD proliferation threat. Subject matter experts in legal and regulatory aspects work with foreign government officials to design and establish appropriate architectures. Licensing experts familiarize counterparts with national control lists and international best practices in licensing processing and industry outreach, while experienced law enforcement and Customs experts assist in ensuring compliance. Since 2005, CTP has supported the Department of State's Bureau of Diplomatic Security Office of Antiterrorism Assistance (DS/ATA) in training for partner countries. CTP's security and law enforcement experts have provided instruction in bomb detection, crime scene investigation, airport and building security, maritime protections, and VIP protection. CTP instructors routinely perform in challenging circumstances, as most ATA program recipients are developing nations lacking human and other resources needed to maintain an effective antiterrorism program and infrastructure. CTP participates on a team led by Casals & Associates in support of United States Agency for International Development (USAID). Under the Encouraging Global Anticorruption and Good Governance Efforts (ENGAGE) umbrella, CTP will apply our experts' decades of international anticorruption experience to address a range of short- and long-term technical assistance requirements in anticorruption, transparency, and integrity around the world. For ten years, CTP supported the Department of Commerce, Bureau of Industry and Security, Office of International Programs, in their global outreach on dual-use export controls. CTP helped to build and manage this program from its inception, including strategic planning, development of training and tools, engagement with foreign government partners and foreign implementing agents, and continuous quality improvement.
